Alaska declared its independence on April 12th, 2150, with its lesser cities confirming that choice on the 13th. This decision came in the wake of increasing global poverty and unemployment, and growing uncertainty in the UN.

Government Edit

The first leader of Alaska is William Begay. The congressional body is a unicameral legislature of 59 representatives, one for every 10,000 people in the country. The President is limited to only one term of 5 years, while representatives may serve 5 terms of 2 years each.

Military Edit

Alaska possesses no military, but has organized local militias to defend its independence until a military can be raised.
